Kinds of Meditation
I am going to explain more about Meditation, and what kinds of meditation. Focusing on our efforts for preventive medicine and practices is not enough. As you are aware, regular practice of meditation can provide physical and mental health benefits. It can be used as a tool to help you stay fit and healthy. It is a new approach to wellness that focuses on our body’s natural tendency toward health and self-healing. The purpose of meditation is to build strength, awareness and harmony in the mind and the body with the ultimate reality.
Different kinds of Meditation
There are major 3 kinds of meditation namely Yoga meditation, Buddhist meditation and Chinese meditation

I. Yoga Meditations:
Yoga is often associated with Hinduism, and it is the oldest and most systematic physical discipline in existence. The origin of yoga is thought to be at least five thousand years old.
There are 11 types of Yoga Meditations.
II. Buddhist Meditation:
There are major 6 types of Buddhist Meditation
1. Zen Meditation 2. Samatha Meditation 3. Metta Bhavana Meditation
4. Dzogchen Meditation 5.Anapanasati Meditation 6. Vipassana Meditation
III. Chinese Meditations:
There are 3 major types of Buddhist Meditation.
1. Qigong Meditation 2. Taoist Meditation 3. Tai Chi Meditation
